Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is based on the idea of curses, but the manga of Gege Akutami, as well as its animated series following it, was not at all cursed.
Since the franchise’s debut in March of 2018 The source material is already one of the most popular mangas ever -and the show has set all kinds of records as well particularly in the most recent prequel film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0..
What’s the next step to come for Yuji and the rest of the group? Get your hands on the best technique and join us in Digital Spy as we anticipate the next episode of Jujutsu Kaisen season two.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 release date: possibility When will it air?
After a long pause in JUJUTSU KAISEN information, we’re finally knowing when the next season will premiere!
The 25th of September during an event celebrating the 10th anniversary of production company TOHO We learned that season 2 was to come out in two parts or courses, each focused on different arcs of the manga. This split-cour strategy is unlike the schedule of release of other anime shows such as SPY FAMILY.
We’ve also seen glimpses of what these episodes will be about because of the teaser photos. The first one features Gojo Satoru Geto Suguru, and Shoko Ieiri dressed in the Jujutsu High uniforms (suggesting a prequel episode) and the most recent one, titled ‘The Shibuya Incident’ features our contemporary characters Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki.
With this in mind and with the understanding that we’ll get Jujutsu Kaisen season split into two parts We’d expect the first part to premiere prior to the end of summer (perhaps between May and June) while the other half to air half to air in the fall (perhaps between October and December).

But what’s the story with Yuta Okkotsu Yuta Okkotsu, the main character that plays in Jujutsu Kaisen 0? Manga strongly suggest Yuta will appear in the main series very soon and a post credit scene from the prequel film is pretty sure.
Below is the response English voice actress Kayleigh McKee said when we inquired about this possibility:
“I would certainly love it if that happened. Honestly, I know nothing of where Yuta will go from here, if anywhere, but I do know that if he comes back, I would be very excited to explore him further evolving and maturing.”
McKee said: “My idea of what I believe he will be and eventually become as he grows older after having learned these lessons and perhaps going through further challenges and how he will handle these challenges in a different way, is thrilling to contemplate.
“Being able to get that ability to portray more evolution for a character like this, who’s one of my favourite characters that I’ve portrayed, is a very good thought. And I do hope it happens.”
