Winter Love Island is expected to be a big hit next year and it’s not likely that viewers will wait long as reports suggest that it could air as soon as January 2020.
According to reports, ITV’s Winter Love Island will debut in the first half of next year. It is expected to be filmed in South Africa.
Popular dating show, Dating Show, is expected to start on January 8, but it will run for two weeks less than the summer series.
It will undoubtedly have a different feel to the summer edition, but it will also be full of drama.
According to the Mail Online, crew and staff are expected to fly to South Africa to assist a new group singletons seeking love on New Year’s Day.
After ITV2’s ratings success, the highly anticipated show will be a hit with viewers.
According to The Daily Star, the new cast will fly to the location just days before the premiere episode.
The bosses are expected to hire “test Islanders” to capture every moment in every angle of Villa.
It is also possible that filming may take place in Cape Town on South Africa’s southwest coastline.
Sources said that the show would run for six weeks rather than the eight it used to.
“The new cast, consisting of singletons, fly out just days prior to the launch. However, bosses work closely with test Islanders to discover the best spots within the villa to create drama.”
The Islanders will be staying in special accommodation designed for the show.
The original show was held in Spain in the summer. It was earlier this summer on Majorca, a Spanish Balearic Island.
As always, Caroline Flack will present and Iain Stirling the narrator will return.
Amy Hart (26), a former Love Islander, also announced that next year’s series would run for six weeks in order to avoid clashes between the Euro 2020 championships.
She stated that there would be two six-week series next year.
Euro 2020 will apparently mean that the summer series will be extended to six weeks.
“I believe the winter series will become the most-watched show of all time.”
Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea were the winners this year, who fell in love at Villa.
Although the couple that won won PS50,000, many fans were critical of their decision.
Fans aren’t afraid to voice their opinions on the best couple and accuse some couples of pretending they are together.
But Danni maintained that their relationship was real and that it would be impossible for them to fake romance in the eyes of the British public.
