According to reports, her fiancé has dumped a woman who was seen in viral photos with Wayne Rooney sleeping on the couch.
Wayne, an ex-Man United player and married to Coleen, was photographed at a nightclub chatting with a woman after a friendly match, and then at a hotel, sleeping.
Wayne, who was fully clothed and sat on a chair in the hotel with three women, later said that he was afraid of being blackmailed by the viral photos that were shared via Whatsapp.
Wayne, age 35, was photographed with his eyes closed while a woman made a V-shaped peace sign using her fingers. The caption for the photo was “Sleepy Wayne”.
A further photo shows a woman standing inches from Wayne, showing her thong.
The three women shown in the photos are not suspected of being involved in criminal activity. Police have dropped an investigation into claims that the star was being blackmailed.
A photo on Instagram was shared that showed a request for PS10,000 to keep Coleen’s photos. However, Cheshire Police stated that its officers were satisfied there weren’t any offences.
A spokesperson stated that Cheshire Constabulary was informed Monday 26 July of possible blackmail regarding a variety of images circulated online.
“Officers spoke to the individual involved and were satisfied that there have been no criminal offenses.
“The other person involved also stated that they don’t want to continue the matter.”
According to The Sun, Elise Melvin (21-year-old trainee accountant) has reportedly walked out on her engagement. She was seen in the room at the budget hotel with Brooke Morgan and Tayler Ryder Ryan.
Stuart Rodger (26-year-old mechanical engineer) is believed to have called off Elise’s engagement after the photos went viral.
Friends of the couple, despite their upset, are hopeful that they will be able make amends in the future.
