Pitch Perfect 4 is yet to be confirmed, despite the constant teases from the cast for the fourth installment that will feature the Barden Bellas.
The stars of the adored franchise came together practically in the month of August 2020 for an exclusive version of Beyonce’s hit song ‘Love On Top’ with all the money being donated to UNICEF However, the show didn’t have confirmation that Pitch Perfect 4 was on its way.
It’s probably not a shock because The movie Pitch Perfect 3 received the most negative critiques of the series, by a considerable distance and earned less than $100 million than the first film at the box office and was advertised as the final chapter of the Bellas “as we know them”.
If anyone can bring the fourth film to life is the cast, and it’s possible until Universal declares otherwise. here’s everything you should be aware of a possible Pitch Perfect 4.
Pitch Perfect 4 release date
At the moment the moment, a fourth movie hasn’t been confirmed and has no release date, and it’s difficult to predict when we can be expecting to see it.
Fans were excited about the possibility of Pitch Perfect 4 being a Pitch Perfect 4 when Rebel Wilson shared a photo with her co-stars Brittany Snow, Anna Camp and Chrissie Fit in October of 2018 with the entire cast holding four fingers.
However, nothing really has been done since the photo, despite Wilson making a joke in November of 2018 that she would be filming a “musical film in the next 12 months”. (It appears that she was actually taunting cats..)
As of now we can’t say the date when a fourth movie will be made available. It’ll have to be confirmed first.
Who’s returning to the show
Although it was suggested that a fourth film could bring in a fresh group of Bellas, it’s difficult to imagine that it wouldn’t have stars that helped make the series so popular.
Then there’s Anna Kendrick as Beca, Rebel Wilson as Fat Amy, Brittany Snow as Chloe, Anna Camp as Aubrey, Hailee Steinfeld as Emily (who was part of in the Bellas for the second third installment), Hana Mae Lee as Lilly (AKA Esther as we saw in the third film) along with Ester Dean playing Cynthia.
It appears that any fourth movie could be made because the group would like to come back to share more singing quality. In the year Pitch Perfect 3 was released, Wilson enthused about having “four or five” movies and Kendrick stated that the group would make these films “forever”.
While promoting her new series Perfect Harmony, Camp said on ET Online that that she’s “down” for a fourth Pitch Perfect movie. “I love those girls,” she said, “and I love playing my character, so if they needed me I would be there, for sure.”
I hope that any fourth film will also include Elizabeth Banks and John Michael Higgins as hilariously funny and hilarious commentators Gail as well as John.
However, will the fourth film bring back the guys after they like Skylar Astin, and Ben Platt were absent from Pitch Perfect 3? Director Trish Sie stated that the reason was “scheduling stuff” and didn’t exclude future appearances.
