This comes just days after it was announced that Red Hot Chilli Peppers cancelled their concert in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow due to illness only hours before the show was scheduled to begin on July 1, 2017. It has fans of Guns N’Roses in shock as raged Scots posted on Twitter.
One person told me: “9pm the night before? You’ve spent hundreds of dollars on hotel rooms and train tickets? Disgraceful.”
Another reply: “Total gutted, frustrated and angry, just like you appears like I’m losing PS100 on the hotel, but if I had the hotel had been cancelled today, I would have received a the option of a refund.”
Another person said: “What’s happening there? On Friday, there was exactly the same message sent to RHCP. It was the exact same message with the same language. This is a bit odd.”
A different way to add: “Gutted.”
In the course of the rock legends concert on the night of their show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it was reported that the gates opened two hours after the scheduled time so support artist Gary Clark Jr did not be able to participate.
Problems with sound also affected the show, as did their subsequent show on the same night. The band’s performance was considerably shorter on both nights, in comparison to their previous show in The Dublin’s Marlay Park.
It’s not known when it will be rescheduled. Glasgow Green event will be changed or rescheduled.
