In May, we took a quick look at our dedicated PlayStation 5 remote play device—now known as PlayStation Portal remote player—and our first wireless earbuds, Pulse Explore. PlayStation Link, PlayStation’s new wireless audio technology
With the help of PlayStation Link wireless audio technology, Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore can connect directly to PlayStation Portal. Together with the USB adapter and PlayStation Portal, this innovation offers simple transition between multiple PlayStation Link servers, such as PS5, with minimal latency and lossless audio.
Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore require the PlayStation Link USB adapter that is included with each headset and earbuds. Additionally, the PlayStation Link USB adapter will be available as a standalone product. It can be used on PCs and Macs, allowing players to connect Pulse Elite or Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore are able to connect to a PlayStation Link supported device (PS5, PC, Mac, or PlayStation Portal) as well as to a Bluetooth supported device at the same time. For instance, PlayStation Link can be used to connect Pulse Explore to the PS5 via l’adaptateur USB et Bluetooth can also be used to connect Pulse Explore to a mobile phone simultanément. Gamers can use the same Pulse Explore earbuds to answer and hear a call right away while playing on PS5.
