TV host Lorraine Kelly revealed she lost one stone in just six weeks following her switch to eating comfort food in the coronavirus shutdown
Lorraine Kelly revealed she lost a stone over 1.5 months following her transition from size 10 to 14 in her coronavirus lockdown.
The TV host who is 62 years old gained weight after turning to eating a diet that was more comforting at the height of the pandemic.
She posted on the Instagram profile to share a picture of her with a congratulatory weight Watchers card to commemorate the occasion.
Lorraine snapped the photo alongside Celebrity Ambassador Coach Suzy Stirling, who uploaded photos on her Facebook page.
“Feeling great! Happier and healthier! Lost over a STONE and confidence returning!” Lorraine captioned the post.
Suzy has also posted a picture of Lorraine standing with the card while standing on the couch.
” @wwsuzystirfry Woweee! In only SIX months @lorrainekellysmith has not just gone and received her STONE AWARD, she’s even gone over and above she lost a staggering 15 pounds!” she told us.
“AMAZING!!! Well done Lorraine… How do you feel?”
The fans were impressed by her weight loss, and took to the comment section of the show to praise the presenter on TV.
“Well done Lorraine, ur an inspiration,” one user wrote, while another said: “You can see it ! Lorraine truly, you look amazing you look amazing.”
One satisfied fan said: “Well done! I’m a big fan of WW after losing 5 stone with them.”
“Wow that’s amazing. is that watching food and increasing exercise x,” another added.
She has previously revealed her weight increase and her struggle to lose it once more.
“During the pandemic, I started comfort eating and that was my downfall – comfort eating and not being able to go to my fitness classes,” she told me.
“When these classes ended, I started eating way in excess It was stuff I’d probably never think about again. Like , I craved muffins, croissants, I was craving doughnuts.
“All of these things you are aware of not doing and think that it’s helping you feel better all the moment, but it’s not. Slowly slow, gradually over the past few years I’ve gone from 10 inches to a size 14. …”
She realized she was gaining weight after she put to put on one of her favorite red dresses only to discover that she was no longer comfortable in the dress.
“I looked absolutely fine, but I didn’t feel fine,” she said about needing to wear an entirely different outfit.
