Joe Wicks, a fitness expert, will visit Nottingham’s country parks as part of Children in Need park runs. Joe Wicks will lead a 2k walk at Rushcliffe Country Park, Ruddington on Sunday, November 13, at 9am.
Joe will lead four walks at various parkrun locations in the UK, including dates in Maidenhead and Dundee. These walks are designed to encourage families to walk and talk more. It will also help BBC Children in Need.
Pudsey, the Children in Need mascot, will join Joe along with other CBeebies celebrities on the day. Visitors who wish to participate in other parts Nottingham are invited to wear their favorite fancy dress, spotty outfit, or Pudsey ears.
Children in Need will receive donations and the MINI Big Love Bootbank is available at each location. Walkers and spectators are welcome to donate running or walking gear for those in need.
Walkers are encouraged and encouraged to register before they start their walk. They will be eligible for free Pudsey goodies.
All ages, genders, and abilities are welcome to participate. Depending on their preference, visitors can participate as runners, walkers or volunteers.
Rushcliffe Country Park hosts a weekly 2k walk for children aged 4-14 years. Park runs are held in 1000 locations across the UK to foster social connections, walk and talk, meet new people, and make it easy for families and friends to connect.
