ITV show This Morning won’t be on air until the end of the week, as the station prepares to focus on World Cup coverage. This announcement was made by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby at the conclusion of this morning’s show on the Monday of November 21st that they wouldn’t return until November 25, which is the day after Thanksgiving.
According to Wales Online the co-host Phil informed the viewers “Right, the World Cup is on ITV for the next few mornings so Alison and Dermot will be with you on Friday, we will see you next week,” before Holly added: “All that’s left to say is good luck England, good luck Wales and we’ll see you next week.”
England began with the World Cup with a 6-2 victory over Iran on the morning of November 21. Wales were able to draw with USA 1-1 later in the night. Tipping Point The Chase, Emmerdale and Coronation Street have all been taken off of their regular slot to allow for the World Cup.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will continue to air tonight, however at a slight late time at 9.15pm. On November 22, Good Morning Britain will be broadcast as usual at 6am. However, it is scheduled to be followed by football coverage starting at 9am, instead of Lorraine.
The coverage of the world cup on ITV is scheduled to end at 3.15pm. It implies that This Morning and Loose Women are also cancelled.
Loose Women will return to the same slot on Thursday, November 24 However, This Morning won’t be back on screens until Friday , when It will be presented by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
