Alison Hammond says she’s ready to get married to her “secret” lover who has been with her for two years. This morning’s presenter has wowed ITV viewers lately with her amazing weight loss after she spoke earlier in the year about her possibility to end up dying “sooner” because of her weight.
The 47-year old, who been on various shows, including”I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! along with Strictly Come Dancing has revealed she’s waiting for the proposal of her boyfriend. The singer is said to have announced the announcement when she walked out onto the red carpet at The 2022 Ethnicity Awards in London the evening before (October 27) according to Birmingham Live.
She was among guests that included the singer Sinitta as well as Strictly Professional Johannes Radebe at the awards which were presented by Loose Women presenter and comedian Judi Love. Alison was named Host of the Year, told the audience: “There is someone special who is special, and if he wishes to ask for a proposal you can ask him to leave.”
On the red carpet about her own success according to MailOnline, Alison said: “I am not sure if I’ve made it.” She continued to say: “It depends what I believe to be the best I can do. Perhaps I think of that as being in a marriage, yet I’m still not yet married, so perhaps I’m not yet there.”
The award comes just after This Morning won Best Daytime Show at the National Television Awards earlier this month The show was honoured with Alison as one of the hosts and team members who received the award on the stage. In a few sentences on the microphone while accepting the award Alison said she could have won the award for the most popular TV presenter, the award was instead handed an award Ant as well as Dec.
She added: “I ain’t going to say anything, but I am sure I could have won one of these too. Bradley Walsh, Graham Norton and the legends of Ant and Dec are amazing But let’s be honest I could have won one. However, This Morning won one regardless,” she told the viewers while smiling.
