There are rumors that KSI might fight or Jake Paul or Tommy Fury in the near future.
Spencer Oliver has revealed that KSI would like to fight Tommy Fury next before making the move against Jake Paul at Wembley Stadium. Oliver is an ex- European super-bantamweight champion, is a major aspect of the rise in YouTube boxing.
The boxer-turned-pundit arranged the first major fight with KSI as well as Joe Weller and was also part of KSI’s debut fight against Logan Paul as well as Deji against Jake Paul. But prior to KSI’s most recent appearance in the boxing world, Oliver is working as a media analyst for talkSPORT. He’s revealed a conversation that he had with the Brit concerning a bout with Fury.
Talking to iFL television the fighter declared: “It’s not just the Jake Paul fight that is going to happen. I’m not sure that this will occur prior to fighting KSI or Tommy Fury that was a fight which KSI was discussing. We’re giving you exclusives in this article. KSI told me during the interview that this is the fight he’d like to fight following this battle on the night of Saturday. He told me, “Tommy Fury is an opponent I like and here are you.”
Fury has been scheduled to fight Paul twice, but without success. The first game, set in December was postponed because of Fury having a broken rib while in camp. Then, their June date was canceled due to ‘TNT’ being barred from entering America, United States.
After the demise of their second fight KSI was willing to hold the fight for his opponent’s undercard at London and this offer was quickly turned down from Paul who had scheduled Hasim Rahman Jr. to be his alternative opponent. With Paul Fury vs. Fury being in the midst of a crisis it seems KSI is determined to step into the fray and fight.
Interview with talkSPORT , he stated: “I’m definitely down to fight Tommy Fury, one hundred percent. I’m not going to go into too much, but I think this could be the best option as my fight following the 27 day. But , I’m saying there are certainly other names , but Tommy Fury is one of them.”
