The Masked Dancer has been confirmed to return for the second season. If you liked The Masked Singer UK season 3 and you’re looking forward to this Masked Extravaganza, which promises to be one of the most bizarre’ series to date.

The previous year, Olympic gymnast Louis Smith was declared the winner in the form of a mask that he wore as Carwash. He was competing against a variety of outrageous costume choices in the first season that included Knickerbocker Glory, Rubber Chicken, Scarecrow, Beetroot, Flamingo and more!

Comedy legend Joel Dommett will reprise his hosting duties for this series following his appearance on the series’ final 3 episodes of The Masked Singerand last year’s The Masked Dancer.

The panel of judges has been confirmed. the judges from last season Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, and the former Strictly Come Dancingpro Oti Mabuse returning to their positions for the forthcoming season.
It has been revealed that the comic Mo Gilligan will be substituted by football legend Peter Crouch on the judging panel since Mo will not be appearing on the show this year due to his touring commitments.
Peter stated: “The show is a very popular choice in our family and, when I was asked to participate, I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of. I’m competitive, and am looking through my the social media pages of my friends looking for those dance moves that make a statement.
“Another advantage is that because of being on the panel, my family, social media and friends won’t be wondering if they’re seeing me hiding in a disguise!”
But don’t fret, Mo will be making an appearance on the event, along with several other guests who are very special.
Mo has revealed: “I love being a member in The Masked Team so I’m gutted to miss the bulk of the show this year because I’ll be working for the US. However, there’s a perfect substitute to fill in my spot. An icon on and off the pitch , and one of the nicest players in the game, Crouchy knows a thing or two about fancy footwork. “We’ve made it happen!”
Oti is confirmed return as a judge in February. Bandicoot TV chief Derek McLean declaring: “Yes, Oti will return. She’s amazing. She has that kind of dance ability and her keen eye is so sharp for dancing. It’s no surprise to say that she’s coming to return.”
Oti was able to correctly identify professional model Craig Revel Horwood and model Kelly Brook in the semi-final while the other judges being totally incorrectly.
The premiere season also included guests judges such as John Bishop, David Walliams and Holly Willoughby.
