When she spoke about the role in an interview for Empire Magazine earlier this year, Thorne revealed her surprise over being cast in the role of Riri.
“I was so stunned actually, that there was a significant delay between the two of us! (laughs) It was like I was hoping to hear something such as, ‘We’ll give to you the side’, or “Send your tape for us.’ However, there was no sign of those,” she said.
It was ‘Would you like to take part in this?’ It was possibly my most memorable experience ever had as the audition was never held whatsoever.”
