Wales rugby fixtures : After struggling in the Six Nations and missing out on a historic series win in South Africa, Wales will hope for some optimism in the final months 2022.
Wayne Pivac’s team has endured one their worst 12 months in recent history, with only two wins out of eight games since the beginning of the year.
Pivac was saved by the win of One Six Nations, which meant they avoided the fate of a Wooden Spoon in March. However, the Springboks were unable to capitalize on the opportunities presented by the three-game series against them, despite their injuries.
Pivac has the opportunity to change the tide with the Autumn Internationals. New Zealand, Australia, Georgia, Georgia, and Australia are all heading to Cardiff.

What happened to Wales in the 2022 Six Nations?
This has largely been a year to forget for Pivac and Wales and their Six Nations performance showed how far they are behind neighbours Ireland, England and France.
A single-point defeat to Italy on the final day was a new low for Wales and the former Scarlets boss was forced to survive pressure on his position after losing four of five games.
What happened when Wales toured South Africa?
On the back of failing to make any impact during the Six Nations, Wales headed off for South Africa fearing the worst, with the Springboks spending time as the World Rugby’s No.1 team earlier in 2022.
Injuries affected Jacques Nienaber’s side during the tour but Wales struggled to take advantage with just one win from three matches.
