Conor McGregor has been told by Khabib Nurmagomedov to get a streak of 10 wins before he can be considered for a rematch.
Last October, bitter rivals clashed when Nurmagomedov retained his UFC lightweight title via fourth-round submission.
The brawl that followed the fight saw both fighters receive suspensions and fines.
McGregor hasn’t fought since being involved in numerous legal controversies. Nurmagomedov will defend McGregor’s belt against Dustin Puirier at UFC 242 next week.
The Russian is not in the mood to give the former champion another chance.
He told ESPN , “This guy must come back and win nine or ten fights,”.
“Maybe some people watching this interview think that he thinks such things, but when Conor asks him to fight him for millions of dollars, this man is going to take it.” You can fight. Come back and be yourself.
“I want fight real men – Dustin Poirier and Tony Ferguson. Maybe if Georges St-Pierre wants to fight. I want to fight these guys. I won’t fight with someone who loses every time.”
