The famous Gogglebox star along with the world-renowned celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has opened up about the moment of grief when he learned the news that daughter Tilly Ramsay was suffering from a cancer.
As they tried their best shot to be couch critics on that special Stand up to Cancer version of the Celebrity Gogglebox on Tuesday the night (October 28,), Ramsay tearfully revealed the circumstances that led his daughter to have a tumor removed at the age of 12.
The pair became very emotional when they talked about how cancer has affected their family members as they watched the account of a 22-year young man who died to cancer after becoming paralyzed.
“When we found out you had a tumour, when you were 12, there was that horrible period of is it cancerous, is it non-malignant?” Gordon declared as he could not keep his tears from falling. “Going to the theater with us, can you recall? It was not.”
Tilly stated: “I was very lucky.”
“And it wasn’t cancer, f**king hell, 22, it’s so unfair,” Gordon said.
When asked about the appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox, Gordon and Tilly stated: “We’re always happy to support the superb work that Stand Up To Cancer do, and despite our TV tastes being polar opposites, we had a lot of fun filming this very special episode of Gogglebox.”
“Every penny raised goes towards finding cures for cancer so I hope we can help raise bucket-loads of money,” they stated.
In another scene, Gordon throws an entire cherries Bakewell tart at the television screen as he was unable to manage to keep his anger over love is blind at the back of his mind.
In the course of the episode Gordon could not comprehend how fast two of the couple, Brennan and Alexa were moving at and he slid the cake on his screen to express his frustration which was the reaction that of his child.
