Samsung Cashback will pay as high as PS900 for Smart TVs and sound systems. This is part of the latest push by Samsung to get you to abandon brands like LG, Hisense and Panasonic when you upgrade to a new television.
Want to upgrade to a new television? There’s never been a better time as Samsung will pay you to upgrade to a new model. Yes, really. You can claim up to PS500 from Samsung on a number of TVs, starting from as low as PS399 up to PS17,999 for a 98-inch QLED model with support for next-generation 8K resolution. The amount of cash you’ll be sent from Samsung varies depending on the model (and the amount you decide to spend on a new telly). If you don’t want to stop there and fancy upgraded sound to accompany your new television, you’ll be pleased to know that Samsung will send you up to PS300 when you buy select soundbars too.
Are you still not convinced? Samsung will give you an additional PS50 if you use both these cashback deals simultaneously. You can also get that double if you purchase two sound systems. This means that you could get PS900 cashback from South Korean technology company if you upgrade your TV and sound system. This is a huge amount of money to buy something you had in mind.
You must purchase your new television before April 5, 2022 to be eligible for the discount. Samsung offers a form to initiate the cashback claim. This must be completed within 30-60 calendar days of purchase.
You don’t have to buy your Samsung soundbar or telly directly. You can claim the cash from South Korean giant Samsung as long as you are buying from a participating retailer. What does it mean to be a “participating seller”? According to Samsung’s website, it excludes purchases made through auction websites like eBay or third-party sellers. This includes items sold via Amazon Marketplace. It also excludes non-Samsung authorized resellers. You won’t get the cash back if you have purchased a new television from these stores.
The promotion also includes The Frame TVs, which have been critically acclaimed and can transform into wall-mounted art when not being used as a TV. The Lifestyle TVs include optional wooden panelling that can be added to the surround of the TV to hide the large, black mirror in your bedroom or living room. An 8K compatible QLED display is also available. This resolution is the highest currently offered by most manufacturers. It’s so future-proofed, most streaming services, such as Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video, only support 4K Ultra HD resolution right now, with very few tests for 8K footage.
Samsung’s embedded processor can use Artificial Intelligence (AI), to enhance the picture on-screen and boost the quality of 4K content, taking advantage of all the extra pixels in the telly.
