STRICTLY COME DANCING champion Ayling-Ellis showed off a stunning performance along with former partner Giovanni Pernice last night.
The show’s Rose and Giovanni join forces for BBC event
Rose Ayling Ellis appeared alongside her Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice on her Instagram post yesterday. The couple performed a charming show in which Rose confessed that she was shocked to discover that she had been “falling on his tried and true tricks” yet again.
Rose shared a couple of clips that were originally posted on Instagram by Giovanni via his Instagram which he then shared with his followers of 802,000 that the dance duo were brought back together.
EastEnders Star Rose was enjoying a jolly time with the dancer until she realized she was being played.
While taking what she thought was a photo and smiling, she was replaced by a furious look when she realized that the man was actually recording the footage.
“Are your filming?” she asked, before putting her face in front of the camera, and trying to get the phone from Giovanni’s grasp.
Giovanni was seen smiling at this, while he rotated the camera around to show that Rose was smiling too in spite of her own smile.
With her 547,000 fans, Rose captioned the next video: “Why did I fall again into this old trap?”
Again, Rose could be seen smiling for the camera alongside an old dance partner prior to realizing he was recording another video.
The two looked at one another simultaneously as she asked her incredulously: “Are you filming? !”
Then, she tried to hold onto at the Strictly star’s nose while she tried to shake him off.
The video concluded with Giovanni looking smug as Rose performed a small victory dancing as the camera rolled.
The pair’s reunion is only a few months after they lifted the glitterball trophy following their victory in the 19th season on Strictly Come Dancing.
Rose has been having an active time in her professional life, especially since she has returned to the set of EastEnders just after the show’s end.
The soap star was traveling for the Strictly all-over tour, where the couple was allowed to spend more time with their co-stars.
The night before, Giovanni and Rose were together again as they attended an BBC event in the same venue.
They both Rose and Giovanni have been named one of the nominees for the Virgin Media Must-See Moment Award for their famous slow dance Zara Larsson’s Symphony in a tribute to the deaf community.
Rose who is also deaf, brought viewers to tears with her amazing performance. She ended up being the first contestant deaf to be the winner of the contest.
The two were at this year’s Royal Television Society Programme Awards with other cast members.
While neither Giovanni or Rose received any awards on their own the ceremony was a significant event for the actors as they were honored with the famous RTS Judges”Award.
Sharing some behind-the-scenes images with Giovanni, Rose gushed: “Congratulations to @bbcstrictly for winning the @royaltelevisionsociety judge award. The magic of Strictly wouldn’t be possible without the team.”
Strictly Come Dancing’s producers are confirming that Giovanni will be back on the show in the coming year and will join Amy Dowden, Kauren Hauer, Dianne Buswell and Johannes Radebe in the lineup.
