Raising Dion Season 3 : If you thought the first season of Raising Dion was an exciting journey, you’ll be strapped in the second season. Did it go as planned? No. It pushes the limits of fantasy just a tiny bit however the engaging storytelling is worth the time.
When we last was able to catch Dion Warren (Ja’Siah Young) and his mother Nicole (Alisha Wainwright) The two were just kicking butt on the football field at school – but we’re not talking about scoring touchdowns. There was a Crooked Man, also known as the former acquaintance of the family Pat (Jason Ritter) had been eating power-hungry persons, such as Dion’s father Mark (Michael B Jordan).
Pat had his sights set on a bigger prize and was determined to snack on Dion. Surprisingly, Pat did not take home the prize. The show’s title is Raising Dion, not The Crooked Man’s Lunchtime Show.
After Pat left, corrupt energy found a new home in the form 8-year-old powerless orphan Brayden (Griffin Robert Faulkner) who had an appetite for the dark.
Fast forward two years, and Dion is getting older, believes he’s wiser and has developed new talents throughout the years, which include the ability to make up powers: because healing, telekinesis and materialisation were all part of becoming old. As he grows more confident and confident, Nicole becomes more anxious and protective in her desperate attempt to ensure his safety.
“In the second season, you’ll receive additional action, even more intrigue as well as more surprises. And yes, even more power.
“Nicole’s difficulties escalate as she comes face-to- confront with the most terrifying parent nightmare. The stakes are greater than ever before, and we’re thrilled to see fans continue our journey together.”
Season two will feature a couple of new supers join the roster. One of them is teenage Janelle Carr (Aubriana Davis). Janelle is struggling to master her combustive powers and later turns out to be to be a useful asset in a battle. One that is on the horizon as the hybrid Brayden Crooked tries to cause a contagious disease which turns people into creatures made of plants (we haven’t said that it was a bit crazy).
Nicole becomes infected when she is infected, and then Pat to save her (yes Pat is Pat, the OG Crooked Man). Pat is able to develop an antidote. However, while it stops the spread of the virus however, it kills the host slowly (bye bye, Nicole).
The single mom must face her own demise and she must help Dion beat Crooked Brayden by dissociating him from the energy of crooked. While fighting, they find an escape route to save Nicole however, the crooked energy isn’t going to go away. It’s instead absorbed by Pat who is returned to his old terrible ways. Due to the mix of power that he instilled into himself, and the energy of a crooked person, Pat is stronger and tougher than ever before.
It makes you wonder what chaos he’s going to create in the near future… In case the after-credits scenes are an indication It’s a lot.
Raising Dion Season 3 premiere date is set for March 3, when does it premiere?
There’s no word yet regarding what happens if The Raising Dion was renewed for a third season however there’s certainly enough material to warrant. The credits sequence at the end teases the future featuring two of our main characters forming a semblance of a battle. There’s a lot which will result in that moment, and the fans are eager to know more (preferably as three or four additional seasons).
Raising Dion season 3 cast: Who’s on it?
The close in season 2 , the Triangle of Justice was still active – it was Dion and his best buddies Esperanza (Sammi Haney) and Jonathan King (Gavin Munn). They fight together to defeat the villainous Brayden in the middle of the season and emerge of season three unharmed. The group has formed an unstoppable team, and their bond is among the key factors in Dion’s life. They help keep his focus and keep him accountable.
Despite Nicole’s terrifying incident to death, Nicole continues to fight on. Her storyline is something to follow closely as she finally comes to let go of a bit and begin to rebuild her life in the very first way since the death of Mark.
In the context of a love passion, Dion’s Coach Tevin Wakefield (Rome Flynn) has earned an extra credit point with Nicole. The training of her son at the biona research center Biona can be the best way to win get a girl’s heart.
He might have stayed with her through a potentially fatal illness , as well as a death-and-life skirmish But will he stay for the third season? We’d like to think that he will. Not just because Nicole deserves to be happy as well, but also because he has been another important pillar in the life of Dion. In addition, his ability to set up walls to protect himself is amazing. It will be interesting to observe how his relationship and abilities change over time.
Thankfully, we did not lose any of our main players during this season and we can also anticipate the return of the head of Biona Suzanne Wu (Ali Ahn), Aunty Kat (Jazmyn Simon) and Janelle for a third season.
What about the enemies?
To continue combining both the negative and the positive, we naturally anticipate supervillain Crooked Pat to be back. His body is awash with new abilities that have to be discovered. It is also speculated on the TV show Dion is the cure for the unbalanced energy which is why the child is at the top of his list of targets. It’s not possible to let our hero let go of his villain for a while yet.
Another not-so-nice character who is that is likely to rear his ugly head once more will be the Josh Ventura’s David Marsh. After he was slammed before the Biona board The former employee’s desire to make money from his abilities for personal financial gain has him putting himself in the hands of Pat. He is willing to help him develop his skills.
