Morrisons petrol stations : Helping its customers save money at the motorists who spend PS40 in-store between Thursday, September 29 and Sunday, October 9 will be given a coupon.
British motorists will have until Sunday, Oct 16 to spend it.
The voucher is valid at any of Morrisons 339 filling stations in the UK.
Morrisons also announced a fuel deal and reduced prices on 150 of its most-loved products in an effort to make customers’ dollars go further.
The prices are nearly 6 percent lower than Morrisons total volume sales, and average a savings of 14% per product.
Rachel Eyre (Chief Customer & Marketing Officer at Morrisons) praised the move and said it would greatly benefit drivers.
She stated that fuel prices were one of the largest expenses faced by the UK as the cost of living rises.
We want to save our customers money whenever possible and hope that this offer will help budgets go a little further.
Morrisons has spent more than PS100million annually to reduce these prices. It also leverages its own manufacturing sites for customers to help them as the cost-of-living crisis continues to affect household grocery budgets.
As seen in August, Morrisons has helped drivers cut down on fuel costs.
The supermarket chain said it had reduced the price of diesel and unleaded by six pence per litre.
Andrew Ball, Morrisons Fuel Operations Manager, stated at the time that “it’s the summer holidays, and we know how difficult the current cost-of-living is for our customers.
“We hope that this fuel price decrease will allow motorists to save money during this difficult time.”
A second scheme was created in February to assist drivers with reducing their monthly bills.
The move will be a huge benefit to drivers, as well as the gradually falling prices for petrol and diesel.
According to RAC Fuel Watch average petrol prices have fallen to 163.47p a litre while diesel motorists face a cost of 180.43p a litre.
With the Morrisons new deal, diesel drivers who have larger tanks can save up to PS5 per fill.
Certain items are not included in the required PS40 customer offer, such as fuel, tobacco, lottery products, and postage stamps.
This deal does not include any Morrisons Daily franchised petrol stations.
Morrisons operates 497 stores in the UK and employs more than 95,000 people.
