Jonnie Irwin has been busy making new episodes of Escape to the Country just recently, and it appears that the presenter of the show is taking a much-needed break.
The 48-year old, who has been a frequent guest in this BBC show for many years, posted a cute photo of him as well as his wife Jessica while they were enjoying time together at Ibiza the week before.
In the first picture, shared through Instagram Jonnie as well as his spouse were seen smiling for the camera and the second photo featured the couple’s delicious cocktails with a beautiful background.
Jonnie wrote in her photo caption that “Wife’s wedding strap was a failure and I had my hat on half and glasses a bit shaky – happy victims of the free for #ibiza.” Many people were eager to wish couple a wonderful holiday, and one wrote: “Awww have a lovely time”.
Another echoed the sentiment with the other, adding: “Living the dream Jonnie boy!” and a third added: “Enjoy your well-deserved break with your lovely family for one of the most dedicated television personalities and one who is able to help others make their dreams to come true. God bless you, happy to be back on ETTC this morning on the BBC.”
Jonnie’s trip to the island comes after he appeared in a brand new show called Escape to the Country this week following a lengthy break. But viewers were left wondering about the appearance.
The episode, hosted by the father of three hosted from Devon the UK, prompted one viewer to write a post to the Instagram: “Are you OK? You’re totally different from the show today! “.
Another user also spotted this particular detail and wrote: “I was just wondering about the same thing [crying emoticon”crying emoji.” Jonnie has shaved his iconic blonde locks, and was wearing caps instead. Jonnie is absent from the show in recent times which has prompted one fan to post: “Thought you had retired!”
There was also concern over the fact that he hasn’t been a part of the channel 4 show A Place in the Sun However, it appears that his schedule has kept him from the show. He informed one of his fans that, despite being in Spain the country, he was not doing any filming for the program rather assisting an “private clients”.
