Manchester City star Jack Grealish declares that Notts County are always in his thoughts following videos of him scoring in a goal in a match against Port Vale resurfaced on social media.
The 27-year old spent all of the 2014/13 season in loan with Meadow Lane from parent club Aston Villa as Notts successfully kept themselves from being relegated from League One. Grealish has scored 5 goals, and assisted seven goals during the period but one of them is back in the spotlight.
In the video that follows, the current England international is handed the ball to the left side from Gareth Roberts following a throw-in before taking off on a slow Dribble in which the player beats two Port Vale defenders multiple times before cutting the ball to the goal for Jamal Campbell-Ryce . He then goes on to score his second goal and the Magpies fourth goal of the 4-2 victory in Shaun Derry’s team recovered from a two-goal deficit for a victory. Grealish himself has seen the video filmed by a fan who was in the Meadow Lane stands Meadow Lane back again and tweeted his response.
In response to the original tweet of Notts fan Joshua Shore, the Man City player replied: “The good old times! Loved this club and season so much. (Notts County FC) always in my heart.”
