Invincible season 2 :The moment Prime Video from Amazon Prime Video Invincible was released in the summer of 2017, it was so well-loved that fans began demanding the second season on their social networks prior to season one was over. This is what we call dedication.
Luckily the it turned out that Amazon’s Prime Video was listening, and, after a few hours of effort along with petitions and hashtags submitted by the viewers The program was renewed for a second season in the month of April to be another season… and the third!
Before this announcement, the show’s creator Robert Kirkman had already hinted that new episodes were likely even though it could be quite difficult to create.
In an interview with The Collider regarding the making of the show The Walking Dead creator said: “The production timeline is quite daunting. I believe that we’ve spent many years creating this particular season. As we look forward to the second season and even beyond the pace of things will be tighter.
“There’s certain to be a decrease in designing and other things that need to be done to start the second season. It’s possible that some work is being done for in the previous season. Therefore, I believe we’re in a good position to go forward in the event that this show ends with a positive outcome.”
Invincible season 2 premiere date: What date does it premiere?
Unfortunately, we’re one year since the announcement of renewal and still, we’re there is no way to know what time the show will show.
In September 2022 There’s been no confirmation on when the next season will be released however we’re hopeful to hear soon.
To be honest with Robert Kirkman, he has been a bit busy with the coming end of The Walking Dead that wrapped filming in March 2022.
On January 1, Kirkman tweeted live through the premiere episode to reveal to the fans the production process before giving an update on the place his involvement was in the production of season 2.
“I have to go back on track with Season 2. (and three)! There’s a script to write due in the near future! Wish me luck!” He wrote. “And thank you for taking the time to read along! I love you all!”
Despite the lengthy wait, season two and three have been developing for quite some time.
Then, in April of 2022, a clip of the lead actor Steven Yeun (who plays Mark Grayson/Invincible) was released showing his recording studio.
“With the number of lines he’s got the vocal cords have to be …” recorded in the space (we’re betting that that sentence ends with ‘invincible’ because of… apparent reasons.
Invincible season 2 casting: Who’s in it?
Invincible’s cast is and we’re not saying this lightly – totally hacked and it’s possible it’s going to grow more impressive as the show continues.
After the crazily dramatic season one finale, we’re expecting to see the majority of the returning characters for the Invincible Season 2:
- Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson Invincible
- Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson
- JK Simmons as Nolan Grayson / Omni-Man
- Zachary Quinto as Robot
- Ross Marquand in the role of Rudy Connors, Robot’s new real body
- Gillian Jacobs as Samantha Eve Wilkins * Gillian Jacobs as Samantha Eve Wilkins Atom Eve

“I cannot wait to create moresongs,” Steven stated, and also the fans who came to the discussion section in huge numbers after the video of Steven in the studio was released.
“We are waiting eagerly,” said one fan. It’s not true.
We wouldn’t be shocked even if other characters were present in the studio too as actor Nolan Grayson/Omni Man JK Simmons revealed in March that the cast was scheduled to begin voice recordings in the near future (as stated by the website DiscussingFilm).
“I believe I’m able to tell you that we’ll be back soon in the recording booth,”” Simmons teased. “Now the time between the first recording and our animation’s finalization is clearly numerous months, possibly even more than a full year I’d say.
“But Yes, “Invincible” is working in earnest , and season two is coming soon I’ll say. There’s a nice, vague word.”
Mark Hamill as Art Rosenbaum may also return in the show, with Kirkman telling Kirkman: “Oh, man… the recording sessions with @HamillHimself was amazing. Could Bulletproof make an appearance in the second season? We’ll need to wait and see!”
… Tease.
Omni-Man was able to fly into a new galaxy after Mark discovered his secret however, Nolan is sure to return for season two. His storyline is essential to the show and to imagine the future episodes without him is as imagining his appearance without his gorgeous moustache. It’s impossible.
Of course, the show has had a variety of appearances by the actors from The Walking Deadwith season one featuring appearances by The Walking Dead’salumni Lauren Cohan, Ross Marquand, Sonequa Martin-Green, Khary Payton, Michael Cudlitz, Lennie James and Chad Coleman all reunited with Invincible leader Yeun.
Could that mean season two may have additional deadites?
“I am hesitant to mention names, simply because I’d love to work with everyone in,” Kirkman said (via ComicBook). “I cannot think of any actor from The Walking Dead I wouldn’t be willing to collaborate with in the future. It’s a fantastic ensemble of performers. Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan… there’s any one I wouldn’t like to work with.”
