Gogglebox Star Jenny has posted a touching message in which she expressed her gratitude to her screen co-star Lee. This Channel 4 show is set to return in the month of October to a brand-new series.
The fan favorite Jenny has sent a heartfelt thank you note for Lee Riley ahead of filming. The message comes following her in the hospital for an illness earlier in the year.
Birmingham Live reports Jenny is currently out of the hospital and is back at home recuperating. Jenny has since taken a video of herself holding the BAFTA that the duo received.
She told her: “Hiya Lee, it’s just me. I’ve been awarded the BAFTA! “I know I was not able to be with you at the end of the evening – I switched my evening dress for a theatrical gown, my black stockings were replaced with surgical stockings, and also my silver clutch bag was replaced with the catheter bag. However I was unable to express my gratitude to you, as a matter of fact for the help you provided me during the pandemic that we were filming.
“You know, and the things that you did for me like giving me that 9ft by 5ft bedroom – wall to wall… walls, and enough room under the bed for my Pot Noodle and a packet of fags,” she added. “And the one shelf you gave me in the kitchen, and I needed to stand on a step to get to it!”
She ended her message with: “But I just want to say all in all Lee, thank you very much for being my bezzie mate, and I’m hoping to see you soon. Bye bye.” Lee responded: “This is why I love this woman. Thank you for your kind words Jenny [crying laughing emojis]. See you next week.”
The new show will premiere on September 9th on a Friday at 9 pm on Channel 4.
