DAN WALKER revealed that he won’t be hosting the popular NFL Show after its move to ITV.
The coverage that focuses on American Football will be moving to ITV and, as part of the revamp, Dan Walker will not be taking in charge of presenting. The well-known sports broadcaster Laura Woods is confirmed to replace him for the upcoming NFL season.
The NFL Show was a huge success for the BBC thanks to its light humor and professional analysis, which is extremely popular with the ever-growing number of American Football fans in the UK.
Former players Jason Bell and Osi Umenyiroa would sit with Dan Walker, or previous host Mark Chapman every week to discuss the most recent NFL news.
The team that is a hit will be transferred onto ITV following ITV secured access to NFL for the next three seasons.
Jason and Osi are now along with hosts Laura Woods, whose impressive sports broadcasting career is going from increasing in strength.
In confirming the news, the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Dan was a bit reflective about the announcement and his time hosting the adored BBC show.
The brand new Channel 5 newsreader tweeted: “You may have seen the news of that the NFL Show moving to ITV.
“It is always among my top shows to watch. North One TV were great and Osi Umenyiora and Jason Bell are 2 of the finest people I’ve been privileged to work with. They are the heart and soul of the company… as well they will never change.”
He also said: “I loved extra second that I spent with them both in and outside from the studio.”
Dan has also backed the move to a different channel in his elegant declaration.
He continued: “I want to wish ITV Sport all the best and I am sure they have a great team in Laura Woods they have one of the top in the business..
“It is only going to improve when she is at the helm. I’ll be there to watch and, as the boys tell you… “keep ballin I’ll see You Soon.”
The show will showcase the most impressive fields goals as well as punts from the world. It will be part of an hour-long show every week starting at 11.30pm.
Laura has quit Sky Sports as part of the change and will be adding an NFL to her sporting broadcasting repertoire that included hosting the most prestigious Football as well as Boxing events in the last 10 years.
She’ll now get the reigns of broadcasting the Super Bowl to UK audiences in the event that is a monster sporting event is scheduled to return on February 12, 2023.
Laura is always a devoted follower of the sport. She she expressed her excitement over the new role alongside Jason as well as Osi.

Host and fellow Super Bowl winner Osi shared his joy.
He continued: “We have seen the NFL increase to a level I would never imagine back when I first played in the UKas a player for Giants in 2007. Giants during 2007.
“This new partnership will allow us to bring the sport to a larger public. We’ve felt so loved by British supporters and are thrilled to be able to follow our team at ITV.”
The fans will have to be patient until the day after the 2022/23 season begins before they get to enjoy the exciting new show of the sport.
