Clarkson’s Farm season 2 : We’ll admit it, we were skeptical about Clarkson’s Farm before it appeared on our screens. We thought that Jeremy Clarkson trading cars and cattle for profit was a disaster in waiting.
But lo and behold, when it dropped onto Amazon’s Prime Video in June 2021, the show proved to be a sweet and hilarious insight into rural farm life, filled with characters so charming they gave Jezza a run for his money.
Even Grand Tour presenteder was pleasantly surprised by how much he enjoyed this new way to live… even though it was extremely difficult.
The show is exactly as it sounds. It documents Clarkson’s journey to become the proud owner and operator of a 1,000-acre Cotswolds farm. His lack of agricultural experience and knowledge leaves him completely dependent on his team. They are happy to show him how to do things, but they won’t hesitate to throw him off the horse if things don’t go according to plan.
Things can go horribly wrong.
Fans are eagerly awaiting season 2, which is now available.
Clarkson’s Farm season 2 release date: When is the show back?
On the announcement, Dan Grabiner, Amazon Studios’ head of UK Originals, said: “Clarkson’s Farm is Jeremy’s unfiltered love letter to farming. It is that authenticity, charm and humour, combined with the farm’s fantastic characters, which have made the series such a remarkable hit with audiences.”
Jeremy and right-hand man Kaleb Cooper then made a video together to confirm the announcement on their side as well.
Filming commenced for a year-long period, wrapping in July 2022. This was confirmed by Clarkson himself, who noted the production time when showing off on Instagram the brand new ponds he dug himself.
When one eager fan commented, “Any news on season two?” Jeremy responded: “Filming ends in mid July. So it should be edited and ready to go early in the new year.”
With this in mind, expect a release date in 2023 – with any luck closer to the first half of the year depending on how long it takes to do post-production.
We’ll let you know when we hear something definitive.
While it’s been an impatient wait for season two, fans can be rest assured the show won’t stop there – season three has been confirmed!
“I’m genuinely thrilled that we are doing a third season of Clarkson’s Farm. I’ve had some great new ideas, all of which have made Charlie, Lisa and Kaleb deeply unhappy,” Clarkson said in a statement when the news was announced on October 28.
Kaleb added: “I’m over the moon to be taking part again. Well, they do say third time’s a charm! Maybe this will be the series that Jeremy finally starts taking advice from a real farmer!”
