Star Wars animation The Bad Batch will premiere the The Bad Batch season 2 on January 4.
Fresh from this year’s D23 Expo in California, this exciting news was released all over all the globe on Twitter It’s confirmed that the initial two episodes will be released in the coming year.
On display, The Bad Batch creator Dave Filoni said that 16 episodes will be part of season 2.
In the past, in the time when Star Wars was first renewed to Disney+ and the director of Disney Streaming, Michael Paull said: “Fans have enthusiastically embraced the drama and action that is Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and we’re thrilled to watch that the Star Wars animated universe expand further through Disney+.
“As the dedicated streaming home for the Star Wars franchise, we can’t wait for the second season of this fan-favourite animated series.”
The story focuses on an genetically modified collection of Clone troopers called”the Bad Batch, handed daring missions as mercenaries in the aftermath from the Clone Wars.
And in the animated galaxy that is far off Tales of the Jedi was revealed in the D23 Expo – and here’s the teaser trailer.
Six shorts are split into two “paths” one is a story of Jedi fighter Ahsoka Tano since her infancy and the second one follows the younger Count Dooku as his descent towards the darkness.
Each episode will be available via Disney+ from Wednesday the 26th of October.
