American Horror Stories has returned for another season on Hulu If you’re a huge fan of American Horror Story: Coven, you’re getting an experience.
In the initial episode titled “Dollhouse,” the show revealed an intriguing origin story for a fan-favorite coven character named Spalding.
The story featured the young girl named Coby (Kristine Froseth) who was kidnapped together with other women by the dollmaker the Mr Van Wirt (Denis O’Hare).
Coby was later required to compete against other dolls in order to become Van Wirt’s spouse and mother of his son Otis (Houston Towe).
Coby has been named as the winner in the end’, following his return to Otis after the prisoners attempted to escape however, of course the prisoners remained in.
Viewers observed Coby showing witch-like abilities throughout the show, and it was rewarded when other witches, recognizing that her powers were reactivating and threatening Wirt’s home, rushed to save her.
After the incident, Coby left the place along with Otis and Otis, both returning to the same Miss Robichaux’s Academy.
Coby later provided Otis Van Wirt the name of Spalding.
Spalding was performed as a character by Denis O’Hare in the original show, and he also appeared in the spin-off story a funny twist.
If that weren’t enough, we glimpsed the young Myrtle Snow (Ellie Grace Pomeroy) which was in the role of Frances Conroy in Coven.
The concept behind the anthology series American Horror Stories is to provide viewers with an exciting new story that features an entirely different cast every episode. In some cases, these stories end up having certain stars from the past or being linked to the main series. The episode did both and also give fans many things to look forward as the season progresses.
