A9 Crash : A woman tragically passed away following a crash of the Mini Cooper on the A9 in Perthshire.
Emergency services were dispatched on the spot at the intersection of Luncarty the other side of Bankfoot at approximately 9.20pm on Thursday in the wake of reports of a single car crash.
Emergency services were swiftly dispatched to the scene in Luncarty as well as Bankfoot, Perthshire, after the alarm went off at approximately 9.20pm on Thursday, but the driver, who was 55 years old, was not able to be saved.
A woman aged 55 that was the driver on the black motor was tragically declared dead just a few minutes after by emergency personnel.
Police shut down the carriageway northbound in front of Newmill Farm, for around five hours in order for an investigation into the accident to be conducted.
However, investigators are asking for those who may have been in that area that may have dash cam footage to contact them.
Investigator Gregory Burns said: “We are asking anyone living who was in the area at that time accident to contact us if you might have information that will help in our investigation.
“Road drivers are advised to look through their dash cams to determine whether they have any footage that can assist in enquiries.”
The road was reopened around 2.30am on the 18th of November.
