A82 crash : Yesterday evening, a man was killed in a collision with a vehicle pulling a trailer along the A82 near Stoneymollan.
A fatal collision occurred near Stoneymollan roundabout. A 22-year old man was killed in the accident.
A Ford Fiesta and Ford Focus collided with a trailer on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at 6.45pm.
However, emergency services arrived on the scene and declared the Fiesta driver, a 22 year-old man, dead.
Nobody else was hurt.
The road was shut down for eight hours while investigations were conducted. It was reopened at 3:00 AM.
Sergeant Archie McGuire stated that his thoughts were with the loved ones of the man who passed away during this difficult time.
“Our inquiries are ongoing and I appeal for anyone who was there at the time and may possess dash-cam footage that could help us to get in touch.
“I also urge anyone who saw the wreckage or the vehicles before the crash to get in touch.”

Police were called to the collision near the Stoneymollan roundabout at 18:45 on 24 November.
The incident involved a black Ford Fiesta and a black Ford Focus with a trailer. The driver of the Fiesta, 22-year-old Louis Hall from Alexandria, died at the scene.
Police are trying to trace the driver of a pick-up style vehicle who they believe may seen what happened.
