One protective husband who was labelled his wife for not being able to go out with him has taken to social media to post photos and videos of their vacation. Dougie Joyce (34-year-old traveller) and Holly Joyce (27-year-old wife) are currently in Marbella. Dougie posted a long workout at the gym.
He is seen in Instagram photos topless and sporting a red cap while he walks around an outdoor gym that included a boxing session.
The couple met online in September 2019, and they are now married. Despite Dougie’s support for Holly’s decision to work from home, Holly will be expected to take care of the household and family.
Holly, a mother-of-two from Salford, Manchester said that it’s been a whirlwind which has turned into a fairy tale. A traveller’s wife has one thing in common: you must respect your husband. He is the boss.
He wouldn’t let me go out with him to parties, but we would always go together. He is the man so he can go out whenever he likes, but I am the woman so I can only go with him.
“I can go to salons or the shops by myself, but Dougie is very protective of me and concerns about my safety if he sees me alone. Dougie is always there to help me if I need it.
“I would rather be with him anyway.”
Holly stated that she felt instantly attracted by Dougie and that his smile won her over. Dougie however, believed it was love at first sight.
Holly’s family was initially skeptical that Holly would marry a traveller’s daughter, but they soon fell in love with Dougie’s charm.
Holly is now open to her new lifestyle and has immersed herself in the traveller community, after instantly getting along with Dougie’s mother Margaret Joyce (56).
Dougie proposed to Oceanna at the gender reveal party at their Manchester home in December 2020. The couple then tied the knot at the extravagant Gorton Monastery in Manchester in July 2022.
The extravagant do was more than PS60k and featured four Rolls Royces and a PS12k gown, as well as champagne.
Dougie originally planned to arrive by helicopter but unfortunately the venue won’t permit him to land in the parking lot.
Holly wore a beautiful PS12k Calla Blanche gown, which Holly made herself over a year.
Following traveller tradition, the evening did was separated with women on one and men on the opposite.
Holly and her husband had been together for three years. Holly was exposed to the life of a traveller and learned what she could expect from a traveller.
Hugo, Holly’s 72-year-old father, has unfortunately since died. He was initially cautious about Holly dating the bareknuckle fighter and owner 3D Fight Club. After all, he was once a fighter himself and was well aware of the risks.
Dougie was a successful bare-knuckle fighter, and now he owns a bare knuckle fighting team.
He is frequently challenged by the community because of his high profile.
Holly said she was worried about her son scrapping, but is unable to see it. She decided to wait at home for him with balloons, a cake and his favorite meal of spuds, cabbage, and balloons.
Holly stated that Dougie, despite his violent career, is a true family man who treats Holly ”like an princess”’.
