A PLACE IN SUN’S Jasmine Harman has taken to social media to lash out at a troll who posted her demeaning remarks regarding her wearing the “unflattering” mini dress “at her age”.
In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman has made a post on Instagram to rebuke one of her followers suggested that she shouldn’t be wearing mini dresses when she’s her age. It was the Channel 4 presenter, 46 was brave enough to call out the person who followed her for the hateful remarks as she thanked her co-star for helping her feel confident about her body.
Jasmine said: “Last week one of my followers advised me to not wear the mini dress’ since it looked ‘too unflattering given my height’.
“I’ve to admit that I was a little shocked considering that my legs are the only body part that I’m not currently having an obsession with …” the fact that my legs were revealed.
Jasmine was later able to admit that she was a bit confused by the comment of a troll and urged the people she follows to “be kind” to each and not try to “bring each other down”.
The star of the property added: “But then I started thinking about why someone (who stated she was in her 40s to mid-40s) would be so eager to drag me down that way?
“Wouldn’t it be so much nicer if we could lift each other up, support each other and be kind. “
The host of the show went to share a photo of her with their APITS Co-star Laura Hamilton in a glamorous photoshoot.
Jasmine stated: “Anyway, I figured the best way to respond was to post a photo of me in an oversized dress and my dear friend, @laurahamiltontv. She always is a source of inspiration for me through her physique confidence!
“Even though on the day this picture was taken, I was having a confidence crisis, I think I pulled it off,” she said.
Yet, Jasmine ironically told how she is also subject to hateful remarks regarding her style during her appearance on her Channel 4 show.
Her post read “The humorous thing about it is that I’ve also been criticized about my appearance as “frumpy” and I’m wearing “granny” clothes.
“I think the lesson here is to wear what you like and feel good in. You can’t please everyone, so please yourself!” she said at the end of her article.
